We’ve all been faced with this question at some point in our lives: what should we wear to meet the prince?! Yeah…right. Well, Rihanna actually had to decided what to wear in the presence of Prince Harry, and her answers were elegant. Understandably, the singer wore two different outfits upon their first day together as he visited her home country of Barbados to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the island’s independence.

Her first look honored the country’s national colors of ultramarine and gold; she donned a light blue knee length loose-fitting one-sleeved Matthew Adams Dolan wrap dress, golden-yellow pumps and gold bangles. Of course, those weren’t her only accessories; she also wore silver hoops and a bejeweled collar necklace. Rihanna slicked her waist-length hair off her face into a low ponytail.
Later in the day, the British royal sat next to the basically-Barbados-royal at the Golden Anniversary Spectacular Mega Concert at Barbados’s Kensington Oval stadium. Rihanna spiced things up in a loose dot-printed Marni maxidress featuring multiple shades of brown for the festive fĂȘte.

The next day, the pair took HIV/AIDS test together to raise awareness on World AIDS Day. While Rihanna seemed nervous to get her blood drawn, she looked comfortable and laid-back in a wide leg linen pants and an off-the-shoulder top.

While her outfit was pretty casual, her hands were dressed up for a black tie event. In addition to a god watch and bright yellow manicure, her fingers all featured diamond, gold, and precious stone rings.
This trio of sophisticated yet unique ensembles is a complete 180 from the outfits she’s been wearing recently. They’re simple and understated, as opposed to the multifaceted athletic-glam look she rocked a few days ago at the 30th Footwear News Achievement Awards, and the T-shirts with her own face on them that she’s been a big fan of recently. But it makes sense; she was meeting a prince, after all.

Rihanna Wore a Very Confusing All-Black Athletic-Glam Outfit to Accept Shoe of the Year Award

Rihanna rocked a lot of different styles in just one outfit at the 30th Footwear News Achievement Awards, at which her Fenty Puma Creeper won Shoe of the Year. We can’t give her credit for coming up with the eclectic look on her own, however, as it was straight from the Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear Vetements runway.
Let’s start from the bottom, since her shoes were the star last night. Of course she proudly wore her black-and-white Fenty Puma Creepers. She accented the shoes with a blingy anklet on one leg. However, a floor-length dramatic black velvet skirt kind of hid her feet, which is why she lifted up her leg and skirt on the red carpet. So on her legs alone, you have athletic-glam. From the waist up, she kind of looks like a mall cop who raided the accessories stand in the middle of a French mall. The singer’s black shirt read “Securite,” and she had a black dad cap to match it. The shirt had a banded waist with a zipper on the side. She glammed it up in long velvet gloves with “Juicy” written in sparkly letters on both.
